Hotels in Barcelonaa contemporary five-star tower beside Barcelona Sants station
7.9/10
Choose it for spacious rooms and skyline dining, not flawless five-star service.
Nobu Hotel Barcelona is a contemporary five-star tower beside Sants station, strongest on room comfort, skyline views and convenient train connections. We'd pick it for a stylish city break if being outside the old-town sightseeing core suits your plans. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff; breakfast and the panoramic Nobu restaurant are recurring highlights.
The luxury experience is less consistent than the name suggests. Tripadvisor and Trip.com guests describe service lapses, while the rooftop pool is a small plunge pool with limited loungers, not somewhere for proper swimming. Some Tripadvisor guests also report rooftop access lost to private events. The hotel confirms that spa entry costs extra for most rooms and is adults-only. We'd skip it if you want sights on your doorstep, dependable pool time or seamless luxury service.

Best for: travelers arriving by train; couples who prioritize dining and views; city breaks with spacious-room comfort
Watch out for: small rooftop pool and limited loungers; uneven five-star service; spa charges and occasional rooftop event closures
Location: Beside Sants station; excellent for rail connections, less convenient for exploring the old town on foot.
Rooms: Spacious, contemporary rooms with well-reviewed beds; higher-floor views are a major draw.
Cleanliness: Strong overall cleanliness feedback, particularly on Expedia; isolated lapses do not define the picture.
Service: Many guests praise helpful staff, but check-in delays and inconsistent follow-through recur.
Amenities: Panoramic Nobu dining, a weather-dependent rooftop plunge pool, 24-hour gym and adults-only spa.
Fees and surprises: Spa entry is extra except in specified suites; some guests report rooftop closures for private events.
