7.2/10
Convenient suites and friendly staff, but upkeep is the weak spot.
This 3-star all-suite hotel is a reasonable pick for a short Concord shopping or speedway trip, rather than a Charlotte city break. Suites include microwaves, mini-fridges and sofa seating, while free breakfast and parking make the basics straightforward. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the convenient location and helpful staff, and many report clean, comfortable rooms.
The catch is inconsistent upkeep. Recent reviews across Marriott, Expedia and Trip.com mention worn furnishings, musty smells and malfunctioning room fixtures, with several reports of water or hot-water trouble. Those complaints sit alongside plenty of positive stays, but keep this from being a dependable first choice. Don’t count on swimming: recent guests report no pool, and Marriott no longer lists one. We'd skip it if polished rooms, reliable maintenance or a pool are priorities.

Best for: Speedway and concert visitors; Families wanting extra room space; Short shopping trips with a car
Watch out for: Uneven room condition and maintenance; Recurring musty-room complaints; No pool despite older listings
Location: In Concord near shopping, restaurants and the speedway—not central Charlotte; no airport shuttle.
Rooms: Useful suite layouts with microwaves and mini-fridges, but wear and broken fixtures recur in recent reviews.
Cleanliness: Many guests praise clean rooms; others report mustiness and poorly cleaned furnishings.
Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff are a consistent strength; problem resolution gets mixed feedback.
Amenities: Free hot breakfast, a fitness center and laundry; no pool currently advertised by Marriott.
Fees and surprises: Parking is free; booking sites list a damage deposit, and Marriott specifies every-other-day housekeeping.
