A comfortable SouthPark base with standout hospitality, but some noise and extra charges.
Charlotte Marriott SouthPark is a full-service 4-star that makes most sense for shopping, nearby business and a comfortable stay outside Uptown. It’s a strong pick for SouthPark: restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the staff and clean, modern rooms. The restaurant, gym and seasonal outdoor pool round out a solid offering rather than a luxury experience.
The main caveat is quiet: guest feedback includes hallway, neighboring-room and elevator noise, so light sleepers should request a room away from elevators and connecting doors. Service earns plenty of praise, though some recent check-in experiences fall short. Parking costs extra, and breakfast and M Club access aren’t standard inclusions. We’d skip it if walking to Uptown attractions or having an indoor pool is central to your plans.

Best for: SouthPark business trips; shopping and dining weekends; Marriott elites with lounge access
Watch out for: Noise near elevators and connecting rooms; Parking and breakfast cost extra; Outside Uptown; outdoor pool only
Location: Walkable access to SouthPark shops and restaurants; less convenient for Uptown-focused sightseeing.
Rooms: Modern, generously sized rooms draw praise for comfort; sound isolation is less consistent.
Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, including recent praise, outweighs occasional housekeeping lapses.
Service: Warm restaurant and lounge staff stand out; front-desk experiences are occasionally uneven.
Amenities: Restaurant and bar, gym, seasonal outdoor pool and eligibility-based M Club; no airport shuttle.
Fees and surprises: Paid parking, breakfast and pet fees; free in-room Wi-Fi requires qualifying direct Bonvoy booking.
