This full-service 4-star sits on Uptown’s edge, within walking distance of the convention center and Spectrum Center. It’s a reasonable pick for a short business or event stay, rather than a polished city break. Marriott advertises renovated rooms, and recent Expedia and Trip.com guests praise cleanliness, comfort and friendly staff. The rooftop bar, indoor pool and gym give it more substance than a basic downtown sleep stop.
The refresh hasn’t made experiences consistent: several 2026 Tripadvisor guests report worn bathrooms, malfunctioning elevators and air-conditioning problems, although Expedia’s recent feedback is much stronger. Expedia also lists meeting-facility renovations from June 26 through December 31, 2026, with possible disturbance. Parking and standard breakfast cost extra. We’d skip it if dependable four-star upkeep or a construction-free stay matters more than convenient access to an event.
