6.6/10
Useful space and included basics, but upkeep makes this a cautious budget pick.
This budget all-suite hotel near UNC Charlotte makes sense for a short, practical stay rather than a getaway. Suites have microwaves and refrigerators, and breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking are included. Recent Hotels.com guests often praise spacious, clean rooms and helpful staff, though Booking.com’s weaker overall rating reinforces that consistency is not its strength. We’d consider it for a university visit if convenience matters more than polish.
The recurring drawback is upkeep: Tripadvisor and Hotels.com guests describe worn carpets, musty or smoke odors, and maintenance problems, alongside plenty of satisfactory stays. Cleanliness varies enough that we’d inspect the assigned room promptly. Choice advertised gym renovations through September 2026; confirm reopening before relying on it. The pool is seasonal and outdoors, not indoors. Skip it if dependable housekeeping and fresh interiors are priorities.
