8.2/10
A strong central base with rooftop views, but not consistently five-star polish.
This contemporary 5-star on Rambla de Catalunya is a strong pick for exploring Barcelona on foot. Its biggest assets are the location, helpful staff and rooftop views, rather than flawless luxury. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcome, comfortable beds and cleanliness; Booking.com also rates location particularly highly. The rooftop pool and Eleven BCN bar give it an appealing place to unwind after sightseeing.
The trade-off is uneven polish for this class: recent guests across sites describe some tired finishes and maintenance faults, alongside plenty of positive stays. Entry-level rooms can be compact, and some Tripadvisor guests report noise near the rooftop bar. The outdoor pool is unheated, so year-round opening does not guarantee comfortable swimming. We'd choose it for a sightseeing break, but skip it if immaculate interiors, absolute quiet or resort-style facilities are priorities.

Rooms: Comfortable beds; entry-level rooms are compact, with some reports of worn finishes and maintenance faults.
Cleanliness: Broadly positive across sites, though not uniformly faultless.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength; problem handling receives more mixed feedback.
