Classic Barcelona luxury with excellent staff, compact entry rooms and renovations to check.
Majestic is a historic 5-star luxury hotel whose strongest assets are its Passeig de Gràcia location and attentive staff. It’s a strong pick for travelers who want Gaudí sights, designer shopping and restaurants within easy reach. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise comfortable beds, cleanliness and helpful service; breakfast and the rooftop terrace are particular strengths. The hotel also now lists a heated indoor wellness pool with complimentary, time-limited access.
Choose your room carefully: entry-level Deluxe rooms are compact for this class, and some recent guests find standard rooms less fresh than upgraded categories. More importantly, a phased renovation covering rooms, dining, wellness and social spaces was reported in July 2026; confirm which work affects your dates. We’d skip it if generous entry-level space or certainty of a construction-free stay matters more than location and traditional luxury.
