8.3/10
A strong sightseeing base with friendly staff, but choose your room carefully.
Hotel Oasis is a 2-star city hotel that delivers more than bare-bones basics. Beside El Born and Barceloneta metro, it’s a strong pick for exploring the old town, waterfront and beach on foot. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the helpful staff and clean rooms; the terrace bar and small seasonal plunge pool are welcome extras for this class.
Room choice matters. Some rooms are compact, and interior categories can have limited outlook. Recent Tripadvisor guests report music carrying from the terrace into nearby rooms, although others describe quiet stays. Request a room away from the pool bar if sleep comes first. The hotel advertises terrace opening from April through October, so don’t book a winter stay around it. We’d choose Oasis for a sightseeing-heavy break, not spacious rooms or guaranteed peace.

Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Tripadvisor reviews.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff are one of the most consistent strengths across sources.
