This upscale beachfront vacation-ownership resort makes most sense for families who want apartment-style comforts rather than a conventional hotel room. Kitchens or kitchenettes, in-room laundry and furnished balconies make longer stays practical. Expedia guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, ocean views and friendly staff, especially the activities team. We'd consider it for a pool-centered family break, but not an uncomplicated beach escape.

The biggest drawback is current construction: Marriott lists resort renovations through November 30, 2026, and Coralline restaurant closed through February 28, 2027. Tripadvisor and booking-site guests describe disruptive construction noise, sometimes around the pools. The beach is for lounging rather than swimming, and the sprawling, multilevel grounds make getting around a chore for some guests. We'd skip it if quiet, easy ocean swimming or walking to restaurants matters most.
