Axel's take: 7.7/10

Come for the beach and nightlife, not a reliably quiet resort escape. a lively, upscale beachfront resort in central Cabo San Lucas, scored for what it is.

Corazón Cabo is an upscale beachfront resort whose strongest asset is its position on swimmable Médano Beach, within walking distance of downtown restaurants and the marina. We'd pick it for a sociable Cabo trip: ocean-view rooms, multiple pools and Rooftop 360 make staying on property appealing, too. Recent guests repeatedly praise the beach and pool staff, and overall ratings remain strong despite uneven experiences.

The trade-off is consistency. Tripadvisor guests report late-night music, competition for loungers and recurring room-assignment or front-desk problems; some also describe maintenance issues and mildew odors. A September 2026 guest reported construction noise above their room, which management acknowledged without giving a completion date. The hotel also lists a 15% resort fee. Confirm your exact room category and any building work before booking; we'd skip it for quiet nights or seamless luxury service.

• Best for: friends combining beach time and nightlife; couples who enjoy a lively resort; travelers exploring Cabo without a car

• Watch out for: late-night rooftop and neighborhood music; room-assignment disputes and uneven upkeep; 15% resort fee; reported construction noise

• Location: Directly on swimmable Médano Beach, with downtown dining and the marina nearby.

• Rooms: Ocean views and spacious layouts win praise, but condition and assigned categories draw recurring complaints.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive ratings, tempered by some recent mildew-odor and housekeeping complaints.

• Service: Beach and pool teams earn repeated praise; reception and problem resolution are less dependable.

• Amenities: Three pools, Rooftop 360, beach club, spa and gym; reserve beach seating ahead.

• Fees and surprises: Officially listed 15% resort fee; membership pitches occur, and September 2026 construction reports warrant checking.
