Stay here for café mornings, residential streets and walks beside the Isar. Wiener Platz, Preysingstrasse and the French Quarter give Haidhausen its small-scale character; Au adds Mariahilfplatz and easy access to the Deutsches Museum. It is our strongest family choice and a particularly good place to settle into Munich rather than rush through it.
