Durbar Marg is the broad shopping avenue below Narayanhiti Palace, with branded stores, international restaurants and corporate offices. Naxal, around Nagpokhari and Bhagawati Temple, feels more residential and less like a visitor district. Choose the avenue for easy orientation and shopping; choose Naxal for a more settled neighborhood atmosphere.
