Østerbro and Nordhavn offer two versions of a calmer stay. Around Østerbrogade and Nordre Frihavnsgade, expect established residential streets, bakeries and access to Fælledparken and Parken. Nordhavn is newer and more architectural: Århusgade, Sandkaj and the rooftop playground at Konditaget Lüders put harbour life and contemporary design ahead of old-town scenery. Both work particularly well when children need outdoor time.
