#7 of 9 hotels in Taipei Main Station by Axel's take. Taipei Main Station is #3 of 9 places to stay in Taipei. The best hotels in Taipei Main Station, ranked · Where to stay in Taipei
Axel's take: 7.8/10
A practical Taipei base whose station access outshines its unevenly updated rooms. an older, full-service city hotel opposite Taipei Main Station, scored for what it is.
Caesar Park is an older, full-service city hotel that makes most sense for travelers prioritizing transport over design. Its underground connection to Taipei Main Station via M6 is the standout: trains, metro lines, shops and inexpensive food are close at hand. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests generally praise the convenient location, comfortable beds and helpful staff. We'd pick it for a sightseeing-heavy trip rather than a hotel-centered getaway.
The compromise is inconsistent room condition. Guests repeatedly describe older furnishings, and some mention worn carpets, while others report clean, refreshed rooms. Check the exact room category rather than assuming every room matches the newest photos; Metropolis rooms are worth considering. Some bathroom layouts use glass partitions, so privacy deserves checking too. We'd skip it if contemporary interiors and consistently polished service matter more than station access.
-

-

-
Amenities: Two restaurants, a gym, spa and rooftop garden provide useful full-service extras.
