#2 of 5 hotels in Solna & Arenastaden by Axel's take. Solna & Arenastaden is #8 of 8 places to stay in Stockholm. The best hotels in Solna & Arenastaden, ranked · Where to stay in Stockholm

Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong arena base with clean rooms, helpful staff and stripped-back comforts. a modern, no-frills hotel beside Strawberry Arena, scored for what it is.

Comfort Hotel Solna Arenastaden is a modern, no-frills hotel that makes most sense for concerts, matches and shopping. We'd pick it for the short walk to Strawberry Arena and Mall of Scandinavia, rather than a central Stockholm address. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, helpful staff and the breakfast buffet. A gym, guest laundry and apartments with kitchens add practical appeal.

The compromises are worth knowing: the hotel confirms room cleaning every four days, and several guests find breakfast seating overwhelmed at busy times. Entry-level Compact doubles face the atrium, so choose your room carefully if daylight and views matter. Breakfast isn't included with every booking, and nearby garage parking costs extra. We'd skip it if you want daily housekeeping or sightseeing on your doorstep.

Best for: concert and football fans; shopping weekends; longer stays in kitchen-equipped apartments
Watch out for: room cleaning every four days; breakfast crowds at busy times; outside central Stockholm
Location: Excellent for Strawberry Arena and the mall; walk to Solna station for commuter trains into Stockholm.
Rooms: Modern and functional; Compact doubles are small and atrium-facing, while apartments offer kitchens.
Cleanliness: Strong overall guest feedback on cleanliness, but scheduled housekeeping is only every four days.
Service: Staff are frequently praised as friendly and helpful; reception and the lobby bar are staffed around the clock.
Amenities: A 24-hour gym, guest laundry, lobby bar, deli and breakfast buffet cover the practical basics.
Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion; the nearby garage is separately operated and charged, and pets incur a supplement.
