#7 of 8 hotels in Rawai & Nai Harn by Axel's take. Rawai & Nai Harn is #5 of 12 places to stay in Phuket. The best hotels in Rawai & Nai Harn, ranked · Where to stay in Phuket

Axel's take: 8.3/10

Strong for spacious villas and warm service, less convincing for beach swimming. a quiet 5-star villa resort on Rawai’s tidal waterfront, scored for what it is.

The Vijitt is a quiet 5-star villa resort in Rawai, strongest for travelers who want space, greenery and poolside downtime rather than a busy beach scene. We'd pick it for a restful couples’ break: recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, generous breakfasts and well-kept villas. The sea-facing infinity pool is a genuine draw, and Booking.com’s strong cleanliness and comfort ratings reinforce the positive picture.

The waterfront is better for views than swimming: shallow water and retreating tides mean beach lovers should plan trips elsewhere. Steep grounds make buggy rides useful, and exploring generally means arranging transport. There is also a current caveat: Expedia lists villa and exterior renovations plus one restaurant closure through October 31, 2026; Easia names Baan Vijitt among the affected facilities. Confirm completion before booking. We'd skip it for walk-everywhere convenience or effortless sea swimming.

Best for: couples seeking quiet villa stays; pool-focused relaxation; travelers happy to explore by taxi
Watch out for: tidal waterfront unsuitable for reliable swimming; steep grounds and transport dependence; renovations and restaurant closure listed through October 31, 2026
Location: Peaceful Rawai waterfront, but limited easy walking and no dependable swimming beach.
Rooms: Spacious Thai-style villas; private pools belong to selected categories, not every villa.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across guest feedback, supported by strong Booking.com cleanliness ratings.
Service: Warm, attentive staff are among the most consistent compliments across recent reviews.
Amenities: Sea-facing infinity pool, spa and kids’ club; confirm availability during the upgrade program.
Fees and surprises: Refundable deposit and paid airport transfers; renovation completion and restaurant reopening dates remain subject to change.
