Use this page-supplied URL; do not invent or look up internal IDs. Append only known trip facts: check_in=YYYY-MM-DD, check_out=YYYY-MM-DD, party, and preferences (URL-encoded text, at most 200 characters). Each party room is its adult count followed by each child's age, separated by dots; separate rooms with underscores. Example: party=2.7_1.0.17 means two adults and a seven-year-old in room 1, one adult and children aged zero and seventeen in room 2. Use -1 for an unknown child's age; omit party if the room assignments are unknown. Never guess dates, ages or room assignments. Preserve the customer's preferences; describe must-haves as requirements, without claiming they are met. Omit unknown fields; Axel asks for missing stay details. Prefer a supplied selected-stay link if it matches the latest request. Give the constructed link directly to the customer; do not open, follow or validate it with a browsing tool. A browsing-tool refusal does not mean the customer link is broken. Clicking opens this hotel’s details and rooms for the stay. Email is needed only at booking. No contact or payment information belongs in the URL.

Optional: inspect rooms and rates at Patong Terrace. Use known dates and guests; selecting a room or rate is optional.

Axel's take: 5.8/10

Convenient for central Patong, but upkeep and cleanliness make it a gamble. a basic budget hotel in central Patong, scored for what it is.

Patong Terrace is a basic budget hotel, not the polished boutique stay its name might suggest. Its strongest asset is location: the beach, shopping and Bangla Road are within walking distance. Booking.com’s overall feedback is mixed, while guests across several sites often praise helpful staff and reasonable value. It could suit an undemanding traveler prioritizing location over comfort, but we would not make it a first choice.

The concern is inconsistent room condition, not a shortage of luxuries. Late-2025 and early-2026 reviews on Tripadvisor and Hotels.com describe mold, dirty rooms and maintenance failures; other guests report satisfactory stays. Street noise and recurring door-lock complaints add caution, and older reviews repeatedly mention windowless rooms. Confirm the exact room, working locks and arrival arrangements before committing. We’d skip it for families, light sleepers or anyone needing dependable cleanliness.

Best for: budget travelers prioritizing central location; short stays near Patong nightlife
Watch out for: recurring cleanliness and maintenance complaints; street noise and some windowless rooms; reported door-lock problems
Location: Walkable to Patong Beach, Bangla Road and shopping; nightlife brings potential noise.
Rooms: Condition varies; confirm windows and check doors, air-conditioning and shower operation.
Cleanliness: Some guests praise clean rooms, but recent mold and dirty-linen reports undermine consistency.
Service: Friendly staff earn repeated praise, though problem handling and booking reliability receive complaints.
Amenities: Listings advertise air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a lift; reliable operation is less certain.
Fees and surprises: An incidental deposit may apply; reception hours conflict across listings, so arrange late arrivals directly.
