We'd choose it for waterfront walks, wide bay views and comfortable rooms rather than contemporary luxury. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the location, helpful staff and breakfast; cleanliness also scores well across both sites. It's a solid base for business trips or sightseeing if you prefer the modern waterfront to staying in Casco Viejo.

The compromise is condition: dated bathrooms, worn fittings and occasional maintenance complaints recur, while some Tripadvisor guests report traffic noise and slow lifts. Renovations affected rooms and closed the outdoor pool in early 2026; later guests praise the pool, but we'd confirm remaining work before booking.
