Apartment-style space and strong cleanliness make this a smart base across from Ottawa. a comfortable 3-star suite hotel in Gatineau’s Hull district, scored for what it is.

Les Suites Victoria is a 3-star suite hotel in Gatineau’s Hull district, not downtown Ottawa. It’s a strong pick if you value apartment-style space over extensive hotel facilities: separate bedrooms, living areas and equipped kitchens make longer stays practical. Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests consistently praise the spacious accommodation, cleanliness and comfortable beds, with friendly staff another recurring strength. The Canadian Museum of History is a short walk away, and the attached café earns good breakfast mentions.

Parking is the main compromise: spaces at the hotel are limited, parking costs extra, and overflow lots draw repeated complaints about convenience and lighting. Some guests also mention overhead footsteps or traffic noise. We’d choose it for a roomy, self-catering stay, but skip it if guaranteed on-site parking or being in central Ottawa matters most.

• Best for: families wanting separate living space; longer self-catering stays; Hull business and museum visits

• Watch out for: limited paid parking and overflow lots; occasional footsteps and traffic noise; across the river from central Ottawa

• Location: In Hull, Gatineau, near the Canadian Museum of History; Ottawa sightseeing requires crossing the river.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with separate living areas and equipped kitchens; some guests report minor wear or noise.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent reviews, with particularly strong cleanliness ratings.

• Service: Usually friendly and helpful, with repeated praise for reception staff.

• Amenities: Attached Moca Loca café, free Wi-Fi and kitchen-equipped suites are the practical draws.

• Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra and is limited; the hotel also requires a refundable damage deposit and a minimum check-in age of 21.
