#9 of 9 hotels in Arenas & Airport by Axel's take. Arenas & Airport is #6 of 6 places to stay in Nice. The best hotels in Arenas & Airport, ranked · Where to stay in Nice

Axel's take: 7.1/10

Useful airport access and pools, but uneven upkeep limits its four-star appeal. a practical 4-star aparthotel near Nice airport, scored for what it is.

Nemea is a practical 4-star aparthotel in Nice’s airport business district, not a beachfront resort despite its Promenade des Anglais address. We’d consider it for an airport stopover or a self-catering stay with tram access to central Nice. Booking.com and Expedia guests frequently praise the spacious rooms, convenient transport and pool facilities. The rooftop pool adds appeal, although guests consistently describe it as small; book a studio or apartment and confirm kitchen equipment if cooking matters.

The trade-off is consistency. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews describe uneven cleaning, maintenance issues and mixed service, alongside plenty of positive stays. Breakfast attracts repeated criticism for quality and value. The hotel says its outdoor pool opens May–October, weather permitting. Nearby Nice Aéroport station construction is ongoing, though its impact inside this hotel is unconfirmed. We’d skip it for a polished four-star holiday or an Old Town location.

  • Best for: airport stopovers; self-catering travelers; business stays in Arénas

  • Watch out for: uneven cleaning and maintenance; small, seasonal rooftop pool; confirm kitchen access and checkout cleaning rules

  • Location: Airport-side Arénas district near tram stops; the beach is roughly a ten-minute walk, not directly outside.

  • Rooms: Guests often praise the space and quiet; kitchen provision depends on the accommodation booked.

  • Cleanliness: Many guests report clean rooms, but recurring complaints flag carpets, corridors and inconsistent housekeeping.

  • Service: Reception is staffed around the clock; guest experiences range from very helpful to unwelcoming.

  • Amenities: Indoor pool, seasonal rooftop pool, sauna, hot tub and gym; outdoor opening depends on weather.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking, breakfast and pets cost extra; expect a deposit and check self-cleaning requirements before departure.
