Axel's take: 8.2/10

A practical Laureles base with helpful staff, good breakfast and some cramped rooms. a straightforward 3-star city hotel in Laureles, scored for what it is.

Suite Comfort is a straightforward 3-star city hotel in Laureles, and we'd pick it for friendly service and everyday convenience rather than fancy facilities. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the staff, cleanliness and buffet breakfast, with positive reports continuing through 2026. Restaurants, Avenida 70 and Unicentro are within walking reach, making this a useful base for exploring or working in Medellín.

Room choice matters here. The hotel sells both internal and exterior-view categories, and several guests describe tight bedrooms or bathrooms. Noise also crops up across review sites, so don't assume the advertised soundproofing guarantees quiet. Parking is free but limited and requires advance arrangement. It's a strong pick for travelers who prioritize location and helpful people; we'd skip it if spacious rooms or reliably silent nights are essential.

• Best for: value-minded city explorers; short business stays; travelers wanting Laureles restaurants nearby

• Watch out for: some cramped rooms and bathrooms; noise in some rooms; limited parking requiring advance arrangement

• Location: Convenient Laureles setting near Avenida 70, restaurants and Unicentro; the metro is a walk away.

• Rooms: Air-conditioned, functional rooms; internal and exterior-view options differ, and some bathrooms are very small.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall guest ratings, with occasional housekeeping and dampness complaints rather than a dominant pattern.

• Service: Helpful, welcoming staff are one of the most consistent positives across booking sites.

• Amenities: Buffet breakfast, restaurant, free Wi-Fi, terrace and 24-hour reception cover the practical basics.

• Fees and surprises: Free parking is limited and must be arranged ahead; Expedia lists a pet deposit, so confirm terms if bringing an animal.
