Axel's take: 7.0/10

Helpful staff and airport convenience, but renovations make room quality a gamble. a practical 3-star airport-area business hotel, scored for what it is.

This 3-star Courtyard is a workable airport-area stop rather than a standout: free parking, comfortable beds and frequently praised staff are its strongest arguments. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly appreciate the welcome, and overall ratings remain broadly positive. We'd consider it for a short business trip with a car, but wouldn't assume every room matches Marriott's refreshed-room description.

The catch is ongoing guestroom renovation, listed by Expedia through October 31, 2026, subject to change. Recent guests describe construction clutter and uneven room condition; cleanliness earns plenty of praise, but dirty bathrooms and musty smells recur in negative reports. Request a completed room away from work areas. Breakfast costs extra unless included in your package, and there's no regular airport shuttle. We'd skip it for a reliably polished stay or effortless early-flight transfers.

• Best for: short business trips with a car; airport overnights with independent transportation

• Watch out for: guestroom renovations through October 31, 2026, subject to change; uneven room condition and cleaning; no regular airport shuttle; breakfast usually extra

• Location: Airport-area setting on 28th Street, convenient for driving rather than a downtown walking break.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds draw praise, but refreshed rooms coexist with reports of worn furnishings and bathroom maintenance issues.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive overall, with recurring recent complaints about dirty bathrooms and musty smells.

• Service: Friendly, accommodating staff are the clearest recurring strength, though problem handling is not uniformly praised.

• Amenities: Bistro, fitness center and free parking; Marriott lists housekeeping every other day.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast is not standard-inclusive; shuttle service is restricted to group blocks, and renovation completion may change.
