#5 of 8 hotels in Mena House & the Grand Egyptian Museum by Axel's take. Mena House & the Grand Egyptian Museum is #4 of 5 places to stay in Giza. The best hotels in Mena House & the Grand Egyptian Museum, ranked · Where to stay in Giza

Axel's take: 8.1/10

Good-value rooms and pyramid views outweigh an awkward entrance and uneven extras. a simple, budget-friendly 3-star hotel in Giza, scored for what it is.

The View Delta is a simple, budget-friendly 3-star hotel whose rooftop pyramid views are the main draw. We'd pick it for a short Giza sightseeing stay rather than a polished resort experience. Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests broadly agree on the strengths: helpful staff, comfortable rooms and generally good cleanliness. Recent guests also praise the room sizes and rooftop breakfast setting. It's a strong pick if you value those basics over a grand arrival.

The entrance is tucked among shops, and guests describe an uninviting approach to the upper-floor hotel. Breakfast and Wi-Fi draw mixed feedback, while some report poor soundproofing. Not every room faces the pyramids, so confirm the exact category. We'd skip it if quiet, seamless hotel operations or easy access to central Cairo matter most.

  • Best for: value-minded pyramid sightseers; couples wanting rooftop views; families needing larger rooms

  • Watch out for: hard-to-find, unpolished entrance; variable breakfast, Wi-Fi and soundproofing; pyramid views depend on room category

  • Location: Convenient for Giza sightseeing, with local shops nearby; less suited to central Cairo.

  • Rooms: Often described as spacious and comfortable; the official site distinguishes city-view and pyramid-view categories.

  • Cleanliness: Mostly positive recent feedback, though occasional housekeeping complaints prevent an unqualified endorsement.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the clearest recurring strength; booking and payment disputes appear in a minority of reviews.

  • Amenities: Rooftop dining, breakfast and Wi-Fi; booking sites list an outdoor pool, but guest evidence about it is limited.

  • Fees and surprises: Confirm airport-pickup terms and parking: listings disagree on parking; construction complaints date to late 2025, with current status unverified.
