Axel's take: 7.0/10

A practical airport overnight, but tired rooms keep it firmly in budget territory. a no-frills budget hotel beside Fresno’s airport, scored for what it is.

This no-frills budget hotel makes most sense for a short overnight before an early flight. Airport proximity is its strongest asset, backed by free parking, breakfast and rooms with microwaves and refrigerators. Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff and clean, comfortable rooms. We'd consider it for a straightforward stopover, rather than a longer Fresno stay.

The trade-off is uneven upkeep: recent reviews across sites describe dated furnishings, stained carpets and occasional stale or smoky smells, alongside plenty of satisfactory stays. Breakfast is basic rather than a substantial hot spread. There’s no elevator, so arrange a ground-floor room if stairs are difficult. The seasonal outdoor pool was reported closed in September 2026; confirm availability before counting on it. We'd skip it if consistently fresh rooms or dependable leisure facilities matter most.

• Best for: early-flight travelers; budget-conscious overnight stops

• Watch out for: dated rooms and inconsistent upkeep; no elevator; pool closure reported in September 2026

• Location: Very close to Fresno Yosemite International Airport; guests report walking to the terminal.

• Rooms: Microwaves and refrigerators are useful; furnishings and maintenance vary.

• Cleanliness: Many guests praise clean rooms, but recurring carpet and odor complaints suggest inconsistency.

• Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a recurring strength, though some guests describe uneven service.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, parking and basic breakfast; seasonal outdoor pool, with a recent closure report.

• Fees and surprises: Choice lists a nightly hotel services fee; confirm shuttle arrangements rather than assuming transfers are included.
