#3 of 3 hotels in Near Southside & Magnolia by Axel's take. Near Southside & Magnolia is #3 of 6 places to stay in Fort Worth. The best hotels in Near Southside & Magnolia, ranked · Where to stay in Fort Worth

Axel's take: 6.2/10

Good location and appealing rooms, but too much depends on everything working first time. A small, limited-service boutique hotel in Fort Worth’s Near Southside, scored for what it is.

Hotel Revel is a small, limited-service boutique hotel near Magnolia Avenue and the medical district, not a full-service luxury stay. Its strongest case is location, followed by spacious, modern rooms that many Expedia guests describe as clean and comfortable. We'd consider it for independent travelers who want nearby restaurants and are comfortable handling arrival by phone.

The trade-offs are substantial: Tripadvisor guests repeatedly report thin walls, missing supplies and difficulty finding help, while recent Expedia reviews also flag entry and air-conditioning problems. The hotel's own site confirms mobile access and contactless service. A May 2026 guest reported construction in the kitchen and dining areas; whether that continues is unverified. Confirm access instructions, parking charges and facility availability before booking. We'd skip it for light sleepers or anyone needing dependable, readily available staff.

  • Best for: Independent, phone-savvy travelers; Visitors prioritizing Magnolia Avenue and the medical district

  • Watch out for: Thin walls and hallway noise; Mobile-entry friction and limited on-site help; Parking charges; confirm arrangements before arrival

  • Location: Near Magnolia Avenue restaurants and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center.

  • Rooms: Often spacious and comfortable, but noise, sparse furnishings and maintenance complaints recur.

  • Cleanliness: A relative strength on Expedia, though Tripadvisor includes serious housekeeping lapses.

  • Service: Contact-light by design; some guests praise helpful staff, while others struggle to obtain assistance.

  • Amenities: The official site lists free Wi-Fi, EV charging, a lounge, sundeck and business center.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking charges and pet fees apply according to booking information and guest reports; May 2026 construction status remains unconfirmed.
