Hotels in Fort WorthA renovated 4-star convention hotel on downtown’s southern edge
8.5/10
A strong convention base with refreshed rooms, friendly staff and a less-central downtown setting.
This renovated 4-star convention hotel is a strong pick for business trips and comfortable downtown stays. Its comprehensive makeover was completed in 2024, and recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. The convention center and Water Gardens are close by, while an indoor pool, whirlpool, substantial gym and on-site dining give it solid full-service credentials.
The trade-off is the setting: it sits away from downtown’s busiest restaurant blocks, so expect a walk rather than nightlife immediately outside. The nearby Fort Worth Convention Center expansion is a construction consideration; recent Tripadvisor guests describe surrounding works. On-site parking is paid valet only, and breakfast generally costs extra. We’d choose it for conference convenience, but skip it if effortless nightlife or a construction-free neighborhood tops your list.
