Axel's take: 8.3/10
A dependable TCU-area base with friendly staff, but breakfast and parking cost extra. A practical 3-star chain hotel near TCU and the Trinity River trails, scored for what it is.
This is a practical 3-star Courtyard, and a strong pick for TCU visits or a Fort Worth weekend without staying downtown. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms and welcoming staff; its overall ratings are stronger there than on Tripadvisor. Restaurants, shopping and the Trinity River trails are close by, with the zoo and cultural attractions within easy reach. We'd choose it for convenience and reliable basics rather than character.
The main catch is what's not included: breakfast, Bistro coffee and on-site parking all cost extra. Marriott also lists housekeeping every other day. Trip.com guests describe a small, unheated outdoor pool, so don't make swimming the reason to book. We'd skip it if you want an all-inclusive-feeling stay or downtown sights outside your door.
