Scandic Kødbyen is a modern 4-star chain hotel that suits travelers who want restaurants and nightlife nearby rather than postcard Copenhagen outside the door. It’s a strong pick for a Vesterbro city break: Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the breakfast, helpful staff and comfortable, generally clean rooms. Central Station is roughly a 10–15-minute walk away, and the contemporary interiors give it more personality than a purely functional business hotel.

The trade-offs are worth knowing. Standard rooms are fairly compact, housekeeping is on request, and breakfast is not automatically included. The hotel itself warns that the surrounding clubs and bars can be heard inside; light sleepers should request a room away from the street.
