Axel's take: 8.4/10

A comfortable, well-connected base for concerts and business, rather than old-town atmosphere. a modern 4-star business hotel in Ørestad, scored for what it is.

This modern 4-star business hotel in Ørestad is a strong pick for Royal Arena concerts, conferences and travelers happy to use public transport. Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious rooms, comfortable beds, cleanliness and helpful staff. The planted atrium gives the large hotel some character, while nearby Ørestad station makes airport and city trips straightforward. Breakfast also earns plenty of praise.

The main compromise is the setting: practical, modern Copenhagen rather than historic streets outside your door. Breakfast can be an expensive extra, and parking is charged separately. There is a gym but no pool, and recent Expedia guests warn against relying on old airport-shuttle listings. We'd choose it for comfort and connections; we'd skip it if exploring central Copenhagen entirely on foot is the priority.

• Best for: Royal Arena concertgoers; business and conference travelers; travelers comfortable using trains and metro

• Watch out for: Outside the historic center; Breakfast and parking can cost extra; Do not count on an airport shuttle

• Location: Near Royal Arena, Field’s shopping center and Ørestad station; convenient connections rather than central sightseeing on foot.

• Rooms: Generally spacious and comfortable, with high-floor views frequently praised.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com ratings and recent Expedia and Tripadvisor reviews.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff receive broad praise across the major review sites.

• Amenities: Planted atrium, restaurants, bar, free Wi-Fi and fitness center; no swimming pool.

• Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion; parking and pets carry charges, and airport-shuttle listings can be misleading.
