Copenhagen Marriott is a large five-star waterfront business hotel, strongest on space, harbor views and dependable comfort rather than distinctive luxury. It's a strong pick if you want a quieter base within walking distance of Tivoli and Central Station. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious rooms, cleanliness, helpful staff and the breakfast; a harbor-facing room makes the most of the setting.

The catch is uneven room condition: public spaces and Executive floors were refreshed in 2023–2024, while many other rooms still await modernization. The operator says renovation of around 280 rooms starts in November 2026 and runs through late 2028, so check the work schedule and room allocation before booking. Some recent guests also report front-desk waits. We'd skip it for intimate design-led luxury or if potential renovation disruption would spoil the trip.
