7.7/10
A practical downtown base with friendly staff, but rooms lack polish.
This full-service 3-star is a good pick for a straightforward downtown stay, especially for the Ohio Theatre, Statehouse and Columbus Commons. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, reasonably spacious rooms and helpful staff; Trip.com guests also highlight the location and welcoming employees. The indoor heated pool, gym and Burger Theory restaurant give it more usefulness than a room-only budget hotel. We'd choose it for convenience rather than character.
The trade-off is an older property with uneven room polish. Dated fittings and occasional bathroom repair complaints appear alongside plenty of satisfied stays, while bed comfort gets mixed feedback. Tripadvisor's weaker overall rating also suggests less consistency than Expedia's recent reviews imply. Parking costs extra, and breakfast isn't automatically included. We'd skip it if fresh interiors or consistently soft beds matter more than a central address.
