Axel's take: 8.0/10

A practical Cleveland base with roomy suites, but housekeeping needs more consistency. a suburban 3-star Marriott all-suite hotel, scored for what it is.

This suburban 3-star Marriott all-suite hotel is a strong pick for travelers with a car who want space rather than a downtown address. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the generous rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Included breakfast and parking make it a practical choice for families and business trips, while microwaves and mini-fridges help with longer stays. Marriott also lists an indoor pool, hot tub, gym and lobby bar.

The main reservation is housekeeping: although most feedback is positive, multiple recent guests describe missed servicing or inadequately cleaned bathrooms. Marriott specifies every-other-day housekeeping, not daily service. Highway-facing rooms also draw noise complaints, so request the opposite side. We'd skip it for a walk-everywhere Cleveland weekend or if reliably meticulous bathroom cleaning is your top priority.

• Best for: families needing extra room; business travelers with a car; Cleveland-area road trips

• Watch out for: highway noise in some rooms; uneven bathroom cleaning; every-other-day housekeeping

• Location: Convenient highway access and nearby restaurants; better suited to driving than downtown sightseeing on foot.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with microwaves and mini-fridges; some guests flag wear and highway noise.

• Cleanliness: Generally praised, but bathroom-cleaning complaints recur across recent reviews.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn frequent praise; housekeeping follow-through is less dependable.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, gym, lobby bar and outdoor patio.

• Fees and surprises: On-site parking is complimentary; the property is smoke-free, allows no pets and provides no airport shuttle.
