Axel's take: 7.3/10
A good game-day base, but room upkeep trails the location and friendly staff. A practical 3-star chain hotel across from Progressive Field, scored for what it is.
This 3-star Hilton Garden Inn is a good pick for a Guardians game rather than a hotel-centered getaway. Progressive Field is across the street, and Rocket Arena is an easy walk. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise welcoming staff and the convenience of returning on foot after events. Rooms have useful basics, including microwaves and mini-fridges, while Hilton lists an indoor saltwater pool, gym, restaurant and bar.
The trade-off is uneven upkeep. Many guests describe clean, comfortable stays, but recent Tripadvisor, Agoda and Klook reviews also flag worn fittings, housekeeping misses and disappointing bedding. Breakfast and parking cost extra. We'd choose it for a short sports trip; we'd skip it if fresh interiors and consistently polished rooms matter more than being beside the ballpark.
