Axel's take: 7.2/10

A practical base for drivers, but room condition is inconsistent. a suburban 3-star conference hotel with an on-site nightclub, scored for what it is.

This suburban 3-star conference hotel is a reasonable pick for a short stay with a car, rather than a Cleveland city break on foot. Free parking, easy highway access, an indoor pool and nearby restaurants give it practical appeal. Recent Expedia and Booking.com guests frequently praise helpful staff and clean, comfortable rooms; the overall feedback is more positive than Tripadvisor’s tougher verdict suggests.

The catch is consistency. Tripadvisor guests describe a divide between remodeled and tired rooms, with recurring complaints about worn carpets, bathroom upkeep and soundproofing; Booking.com guests also flag noise. We’d request a remodeled room and check its condition on arrival. Club Impulse adds nightlife, not a reliably quiet atmosphere, and breakfast costs extra unless included in your booking. Skip it if fresh interiors, dependable quiet or a walkable downtown location are priorities.

• Best for: business travelers with a car; on-site conference attendees; short stays outside downtown

• Watch out for: uneven room condition and upkeep; thin soundproofing and lively nightclub; breakfast usually costs extra

• Location: Convenient to I-77 and I-480, with restaurants nearby; a car is recommended.

• Rooms: Comfortable rooms earn praise, but guests report substantial differences between remodeled and older rooms.

• Cleanliness: Recent Expedia feedback is mostly positive; Tripadvisor reports recurring carpet and bathroom problems.

• Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a frequent strength, though problem handling receives mixed feedback.

• Amenities: Indoor heated pool, gym, restaurant, Club Impulse nightclub and extensive meeting space.

• Fees and surprises: Free self-parking; breakfast inclusion varies, a deposit is listed, and no airport or local shuttle operates.
