Axel's take: 8.8/10
A strong Gangnam pick, with excellent bathhouse extras but compact rooms. A Japanese-chain 3-star business hotel in Gangnam, scored for what it is.
Dormy Inn Seoul Gangnam is a Japanese-chain 3-star business hotel that delivers more than the basics. We'd pick it for consistently praised cleanliness, helpful staff and the included communal baths and sauna. Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly appreciate the evening noodles, while breakfast earns strong praise across sites. It's a particularly good fit for solo travelers who value practical comforts over generous room space.
The compromises are clear: rooms are compact, storage is limited, and several Tripadvisor guests find the pillows very hard. The uphill return from the subway is another recurring complaint, especially with luggage. We'd skip it if you need room to spread out or struggle with slopes; otherwise, the bathhouse and thoughtful extras make this a very good option for its class.
