Hotels in Barcelonaa simple 3-star city hotel beside Paral·lel metro
7.2/10
A practical sightseeing base, but noise and uneven room upkeep limit its appeal.
Best Auto Hogar is a simple 3-star city hotel whose strongest selling point is getting around Barcelona: Paral·lel metro is opposite, and La Rambla is roughly ten minutes away on foot. We'd consider it for a short, sightseeing-heavy break rather than a hotel-focused stay. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests often praise clean rooms and helpful staff; kettles, fridges in double rooms and the downstairs Café Español add everyday convenience.
The main compromise is sleep. Street and nightlife noise recur in reviews, including on higher floors, while several recent guests report weak or faulty air-conditioning. Room condition also varies, with some tired bathrooms and maintenance complaints alongside happier reports. Request a room away from the avenue, but don't assume quiet is guaranteed. We'd skip it for light sleepers or anyone expecting consistently fresh interiors.

Best for: sightseeing-focused city breaks; travelers prioritizing metro access; short stays with modest expectations
Watch out for: street and nightlife noise; uneven air-conditioning performance; variable room maintenance
Location: Opposite Paral·lel metro, around ten minutes on foot from La Rambla; not beachfront.
Rooms: Functional rather than polished; the hotel lists seasonal heating and cooling, and maintenance varies.
Cleanliness: Frequently praised by recent guests, though bathroom condition is less consistent.
Service: Helpful staff earn regular praise, but problem handling receives some mixed reports.
Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, café-restaurant, buffet breakfast, gym and a small spa with Turkish bath and whirlpool.
Fees and surprises: City tax is collected at the property; parking and spa access cost extra, and breakfast depends on the booking.
