Axel's take: 8.8/10

Spacious suites and standout breakfast make this a strong family base, but not a downtown stay. A comfortable 3-star all-suite hotel off I-89 in South Burlington, scored for what it is.

This 3-star all-suite hotel in South Burlington is a strong pick for families and longer stays, especially if you want a kitchen rather than another standard hotel room. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean suites, genuinely helpful staff and a hot breakfast that punches above the usual chain buffet. Free parking and an airport shuttle add practical value, while the indoor pool and hot tub give families something to do between outings.

The trade-off is location: this is a shopping-and-highway base, roughly two miles from downtown, not a waterfront retreat. Some Tripadvisor guests report traffic noise and sound carrying between rooms, although others find it quiet. Light sleepers should request a room away from Dorset Street. We'd choose it for space and convenience; skip it if walking straight into Burlington's downtown scene matters most.

• Best for: Families wanting extra space; Longer stays with self-catering; Travelers with a car

• Watch out for: Not in downtown Burlington; Some reports of traffic and neighboring-room noise; Dogs incur a nonrefundable fee; cats aren't accepted

• Location: Near shopping and I-89, roughly two miles from downtown and the waterfront.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with equipped kitchens; sound insulation draws mixed feedback.

• Cleanliness: Strong recent feedback across sites, with occasional housekeeping lapses rather than a broad pattern.

• Service: Helpful front-desk and breakfast staff are recurring strengths in recent reviews.

• Amenities: Free hot breakfast, parking and airport shuttle; indoor pool, hot tub, gym and Wednesday evening social.

• Fees and surprises: Nonrefundable dog fees apply; no cats, and complimentary parking is only for the stay—not park-and-fly.
