Axel's take: 7.3/10

Friendly staff and useful basics make this a practical stop, despite tired interiors. A no-frills Comfort-brand hotel off I-89 near UVM, scored for what it is.

This no-frills Comfort-brand hotel is a sensible base for UVM visits or a Burlington overnight, especially with a car. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, comfortable beds and included hot breakfast. Free parking, in-room microwaves and refrigerators help it deliver the basics without much fuss. We'd pick it for convenience rather than character.

The compromise is condition: reviews across sites describe worn furniture, aging bathrooms and carpets needing attention, with maintenance complaints continuing into 2026. Recent Expedia guests often report clean rooms, so tired doesn't automatically mean dirty, but expectations should stay modest. Some highway-facing rooms get traffic noise, and the outdoor pool is seasonal. We'd skip it for a polished getaway or a stay centered on walking around downtown Burlington.

• Best for: UVM visitors with a car; Practical overnight stops; Travelers prioritizing breakfast and parking

• Watch out for: Worn furnishings and uneven maintenance; Traffic noise in some highway-facing rooms; Outdoor pool is seasonal

• Location: Convenient to I-89, UVM, shopping and restaurants; not a downtown Burlington address.

• Rooms: Generally spacious with comfortable beds, microwaves and refrigerators; furnishings and bathrooms show wear.

• Cleanliness: Recent feedback is often positive, though carpet and deeper-cleaning complaints recur.

• Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff are the most consistent strength across review sites.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, laundry and a seasonal outdoor pool cover the practical basics.

• Fees and surprises: Self-parking is free; pets are not accepted, apart from service animals.
