Axel's take: 8.1/10

A solid shopping-trip base with friendly staff and useful included extras. a simple, limited-service hotel off I-90 near Walden Galleria, scored for what it is.

This is a simple, limited-service hotel off I-90, and a strong pick for a Buffalo shopping weekend or road-trip stop. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms, helpful staff and the included breakfast; Booking.com’s overall ratings are similarly positive. Free parking, round-the-clock lobby coffee and a heated indoor pool make it a practical package for families without pretending to be a full-service resort.

The trade-off is consistency rather than a missing luxury: Tripadvisor feedback is more mixed on housekeeping, maintenance and breakfast, although newer Expedia reports are notably stronger. One February 2026 guest reported trucks blocking parking spaces; later guests describe ample parking. We’d choose it with a car and modest expectations, but skip it for a walkable downtown stay or polished, full-service surroundings.

• Best for: Walden Galleria shopping weekends; families traveling by car; short Buffalo-area stopovers

• Watch out for: Car-oriented location outside downtown; Some mixed housekeeping and maintenance reports; Occasional parking congestion reported

• Location: Off I-90, roughly a mile from Walden Galleria and five miles from Buffalo airport; better with a car.

• Rooms: Generally described as spacious and comfortable, with occasional reports of minor wear.

• Cleanliness: Recent Expedia feedback is strongly positive; Tripadvisor includes some less consistent experiences.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength, particularly in recent reviews.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, heated indoor pool, gym, free Wi-Fi and 24-hour lobby coffee.

• Fees and surprises: Self-parking is complimentary; IHG lists weekly housekeeping, so confirm service frequency for longer stays.
