6.3/10
The pool and shopping location appeal, but room quality is too inconsistent.
M Hotel Buffalo is an older, full-service 3-star beside Walden Galleria, with an indoor courtyard pool that gives it more personality than a basic airport hotel. Free breakfast, an airport shuttle and regular self-parking make it practical for short shopping trips or airport stopovers. Expedia and Hotels.com guests often praise spacious rooms and helpful staff, but we'd call it a mixed pick rather than a dependable recommendation.
The gap between the inviting common areas and some bedrooms is the concern: recent guests repeatedly describe dated bathrooms, maintenance problems, uneven cleaning and intrusive noise. Tripadvisor feedback is notably harsher than the booking sites. Room renovations and construction were still reported in summer 2026; confirm the current work and request an updated room away from courtyard events. We'd skip it if quiet sleep and consistent room condition matter most.

Best for: Short Walden Galleria shopping trips; Airport stopovers prioritizing amenities
Watch out for: Uneven room condition and cleaning; Courtyard events and thin-wall noise; Renovation work reported in summer 2026
Location: Convenient for Walden Galleria, highway access and the airport rather than downtown sightseeing.
Rooms: Often spacious, but updated rooms coexist with dated bathrooms and recurring maintenance complaints.
Cleanliness: Many booking-site guests report clean rooms; repeated negative accounts make consistency a concern.
Service: Helpful staff earn frequent praise, though complaint handling and check-in receive sharply mixed feedback.
Amenities: Indoor courtyard pool, gym, restaurant and lounge; breakfast and airport shuttle are included.
Fees and surprises: Regular self-parking is free; extended parking costs extra, and guests report a substantial incidental deposit.
