#3 of 9 hotels in Rogier & Gare du Nord by Axel's take. Rogier & Gare du Nord is #6 of 9 places to stay in Brussels. The best hotels in Rogier & Gare du Nord, ranked · Where to stay in Brussels

Axel's take: 8.5/10

Big rooms and standout breakfasts make this a strong pick, but request quiet. An art-themed 4-star near Botanique, outside the historic core, scored for what it is.

nhow Brussels Bloom is an art-themed 4-star that delivers more than colorful interiors. It's a strong pick for travelers who want roomy accommodation and easy public transport rather than a Grand Place doorstep. Recent Tripadvisor and Hotels.com guests repeatedly praise the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, helpful staff and unusually generous breakfast, including make-your-own waffles. Booking.com's strong cleanliness ratings support the positive overall picture.

The main compromise is soundproofing: tram and traffic noise recur across recent reviews, particularly in street-facing rooms. We'd request a rear-facing room, without assuming silence. Grand Place is roughly a 20-minute walk, and some guests recommend sticking to main roads after dark. Breakfast and parking can add to the bill. Skip it if uninterrupted quiet or staying in the historic center matters most.

  • Best for: Design-minded city-break travelers; Business travelers wanting room to work; Concertgoers visiting Le Botanique

  • Watch out for: Tram and traffic noise in street-facing rooms; Roughly 20 minutes on foot to Grand Place; Breakfast and parking may cost extra

  • Location: Near Botanique metro and gardens; convenient transport, but outside the historic core.

  • Rooms: Spacious, creatively decorated rooms with useful desks; noise is the clearest recurring drawback.

  • Cleanliness: Generally a strength: Booking.com rates cleanliness 9.0, despite occasional housekeeping complaints.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn consistent praise, though problem handling is not universally smooth.

  • Amenities: Extensive breakfast with waffle station, cocktail bar, eighth-floor gym and indoor parking.

  • Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion; parking and pets cost extra, and the garage has a 1.80-meter height limit.
