Axel's take: 8.2/10

Warm service and a prime Zona T location outweigh some uneven five-star polish. a compact five-star city hotel beside Zona T, scored for what it is.

NH Collection Bogotá Andino Royal is a compact five-star city hotel whose strongest assets are its people and location. We'd pick it for easy access to Andino shopping, restaurants and Zona T nightlife rather than a luxury escape. Booking.com and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff and spacious rooms; recent Expedia reviews also generally support the cleanliness and comfort. The rooftop gym, terrace and sauna add useful extras.

The trade-off is uneven polish. Some recent Expedia guests describe worn rooms or an older-looking property, despite the brand advertising a renovation without a clear date. Nighttime noise draws mixed reports: many sleep comfortably, but music and traffic can carry indoors. It's a strong base for dining, shopping or business; we'd look elsewhere for reliably hushed nights or consistently fresh luxury interiors.

• Best for: shopping and dining trips; travelers who enjoy Zona T nightlife; business travelers wanting a walkable base

• Watch out for: variable nighttime music and traffic noise; some rooms show wear; breakfast inclusion depends on your booking

• Location: Steps from Andino mall, restaurants and Zona T nightlife—the hotel's clearest strength.

• Rooms: Generally spacious and comfortable, though some recent guests report worn finishes.

• Cleanliness: Broadly positive across Booking.com and Expedia, without a dominant recent complaint pattern.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn consistent praise across the major review sites.

• Amenities: Rooftop gym and terrace, sauna, bookable massages, restaurant and free Wi-Fi.

• Fees and surprises: On-site parking is free; breakfast may cost extra, and airport transfers and pets carry charges.
