Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong Zona T base with standout staff, breakfast, and some room-dependent trade-offs. a compact 4-star in Bogotá’s shopping and nightlife district, scored for what it is.

Avani Royal Zona T is a compact 4-star whose biggest advantage is its doorstep: Andino mall, restaurants and nightlife are all close by. It’s a strong pick for travelers who want to explore this lively neighborhood on foot. Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the helpful staff, comfortable beds, cleanliness and generous breakfast. The hotel also offers a rooftop gym and massage room.

Room choice matters. Some guests find the older furnishings and tight bathrooms underwhelming; Avani now lists renovated “New Style” categories alongside regular rooms, so confirm which you’re booking. Noise reports vary considerably: many guests sleep well, while others hear nearby music or internal noise. Light sleepers should request a quieter room, and we’d skip it if guaranteed silence matters more than walking straight into the action.

• Best for: shopping and restaurant-focused trips; couples who enjoy nightlife; short business stays

• Watch out for: room-dependent nightlife and internal noise; older rooms alongside renovated categories; some tight bathrooms

• Location: Steps from Andino mall and Zona T dining and nightlife; particularly convenient for exploring the neighborhood on foot.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds; renovated New Style categories coexist with older rooms, and some bathrooms feel cramped.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across major sites, with housekeeping frequently praised.

• Service: Friendly, attentive staff are one of the most consistent strengths in recent reviews.

• Amenities: Rooftop gym, restaurant, bar and massage room; breakfast is a recurring highlight.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast inclusion depends on the booking; airport transfers, massages and pets cost extra, while self-parking is listed as free.
