Axel's take: 8.7/10

A dependable Rosales base with spacious rooms, helpful staff and restaurants close by. an independent 4-star business hotel in Bogotá’s Rosales neighborhood, scored for what it is.

Hotel Rosales Plaza is an independent 4-star business hotel in Rosales, and a strong pick for comfort and location rather than luxury. Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests consistently praise the spacious rooms, cleanliness and helpful staff, with positive reviews continuing into 2026. Zona G’s restaurants and nearby financial offices make it particularly convenient for business trips and food-focused stays. Breakfast generally earns good marks, too.

The compromises are mostly practical: some guests find the rooms sparsely decorated or poorly lit, and reviews on multiple sites mention traffic noise. Some rooms are reported to lack air-conditioning, so opening windows for cooler air can make that noise more noticeable. We'd request a quiet room and confirm cooling arrangements before booking. Skip it if polished interiors and reliably silent nights matter more than space, service and neighborhood convenience.

• Best for: business travelers visiting the financial district; couples exploring Zona G’s restaurants; travelers prioritizing room space and value

• Watch out for: traffic noise in some rooms; confirm room air-conditioning; plain interiors and uneven lighting

• Location: Well placed for Rosales offices and Zona G dining, with restaurants and cafés within walking distance.

• Rooms: Spacious and generally comfortable; some guests flag weak lighting, warm rooms and traffic noise.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guest feedback.

• Service: Helpful, welcoming staff earn repeated praise, including in 2026 reviews.

• Amenities: Restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and meeting facilities; breakfast is generally well received.

• Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion; airport transfers and pets carry extra charges, and parking spaces are limited.
