#4 of 8 hotels in Fontibon & El Dorado Airport by Axel's take. Fontibon & El Dorado Airport is #9 of 9 places to stay in Bogota. The best hotels in Fontibon & El Dorado Airport, ranked · Where to stay in Bogota

Axel's take: 7.3/10

Good for a budget stopover, less convincing for a quiet night's sleep. a no-frills budget hotel in Fontibón, convenient for airport stopovers, scored for what it is.

Los Balcones is a no-frills budget hotel in Fontibón, better suited to an airport stopover than a Bogotá sightseeing holiday. We'd consider it for a short, practical stay: Booking.com guests in 2025 repeatedly praise cleanliness, helpful staff and value. Private bathrooms, hot showers, free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception cover the essentials, and the hotel can arrange airport pickup.

The main compromise is rest. Guests describe noise carrying from traffic, other rooms and the internal garage; garage fumes also appear in Booking.com and Tripadvisor feedback. Several reviewers mention stairs without an elevator, and some rooms are small. Confirm parking availability and charges directly, since listings disagree. We'd skip it for light sleepers, travelers with mobility limitations or anyone wanting to explore the historic center on foot.

  • Best for: budget airport stopovers; short stays in Fontibón

  • Watch out for: traffic and internal noise; stairs without an elevator; garage fumes in some rooms

  • Location: Practical for El Dorado and Fontibón errands; not a central sightseeing base.

  • Rooms: Simple rooms with private bathrooms; some guests find them cramped.

  • Cleanliness: A recurring strength in 2025 Booking.com feedback, despite much older negative reviews elsewhere.

  • Service: Recent guests often praise helpful staff; 24-hour reception is listed.

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, cable TV and hot showers; airport pickup can be arranged.

  • Fees and surprises: Booking.com lists paid parking, while Expedia says none; confirm parking and transfer charges directly.
