Axel's take: 7.3/10

A useful Corferias base, but confirm the room details before booking. a practical 3-star-style business hotel beside Corferias, scored for what it is.

Hotel American Visa Tower is a practical, 3-star-style business hotel whose strongest selling point is its position beside Corferias and near the U.S. Embassy. We'd consider it for a short, purpose-driven visit: guests praise the spacious rooms, and recent Expedia feedback highlights good breakfast and service. The rooftop restaurant and city views add something beyond the basics.

The catch is consistency. Booking.com guests in 2026 report missing advertised amenities and room descriptions that did not match what they received; Wi-Fi also scores poorly. One August 2025 Tripadvisor report described construction and nonworking elevators, although we couldn't establish whether those problems continue. Confirm your exact room, elevator operation and any ongoing work directly. We'd skip it if reliable workspace connectivity or polished, full-service comfort matters most.

• Best for: Corferias exhibition visitors; U.S. Embassy appointments; short business stays

• Watch out for: Room descriptions may not match; Weak Wi-Fi feedback; Confirm construction and elevator status

• Location: The main advantage: beside Corferias, with the U.S. Embassy within walking distance.

• Rooms: Often praised for space, but recent guests flag missing amenities and mismatched room descriptions.

• Cleanliness: Generally a relative strength, with solid cleanliness ratings on Booking.com and Expedia.

• Service: Recent breakfast and service praise, though guest experiences are not uniformly consistent.

• Amenities: Breakfast, restaurant, terrace and free Wi-Fi are listed; connectivity receives weaker feedback.

• Fees and surprises: Airport transfers and pets carry extra charges; parking listings conflict, so confirm directly.
