Axel's take: 7.6/10

A practical airport stopover with friendly staff, but uneven rooms and noise risks. a simple independent 3-star in Bogotá’s airport-side Normandía neighborhood, scored for what it is.

Hotel Airport Travel is a simple independent 3-star in residential Normandía, better suited to an airport stopover than a sightseeing holiday. We’d consider it for a short, budget-conscious stay: Booking.com guests rate it positively overall, and recent Expedia reviews repeatedly praise helpful staff and cleanliness. Breakfast also earns positive mentions, giving this fairly basic hotel a useful edge.

The main compromise is room consistency. Guests on Trip.com and Expedia describe noise, cramped toilet areas and limited natural light in some rooms, alongside happier reports of comfortable stays. Airport access still means a drive, not a walk to departures. Expedia also lists unusual cleaning and linen charges; confirm these, breakfast hours and any transfer arrangements before booking. We’d skip it for light sleepers or travelers wanting a polished base near Bogotá’s historic sights.

• Best for: budget-conscious airport stopovers; short stays in western Bogotá

• Watch out for: noise and variable room layouts; airport transfers need confirmation; listed cleaning and linen charges

• Location: Residential Normandía suits airport access better than exploring the historic center.

• Rooms: Basic accommodation; some guests report cramped bathrooms, poor daylight and noise.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive, including several 2026 Expedia reviews, though consistency is not universal.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength across Booking.com, Expedia and Trip.com.

• Amenities: Listings include breakfast, Wi-Fi, a gym and an elevator; confirm parking because sources disagree.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm Expedia’s listed cleaning and linen charges; the supplied website redirects to a third-party booking page.
