Axel's take: 8.5/10

Stylish rooms and genuinely helpful staff, but rooftop access can disappoint. a luxury design boutique hotel in Bogotá’s La Cabrera neighborhood, scored for what it is.

B.O.G. is a luxury design boutique hotel in La Cabrera, close to Zona T’s restaurants and shopping. It’s a strong pick for travelers who want contemporary style without sacrificing comfort: Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and attentive staff. Breakfast earns plenty of positive mentions, too. The rooftop pool and spa give it more appeal than a straightforward business hotel.

The catch is that the rooftop doubles as an event venue. Guests on Expedia and Tripadvisor report private functions restricting terrace or pool access, with music reaching rooms below. That matters when the rooftop is a reason to book, so confirm availability for your dates and request a room away from event spaces. We’d choose it for dining, shopping and service—not for guaranteed poolside downtime.

• Best for: couples who like contemporary design; shopping and restaurant-focused stays; business travelers wanting a boutique hotel

• Watch out for: private events can restrict rooftop and pool access; event music can reach rooms below the rooftop

• Location: Convenient La Cabrera base within walking distance of Zona T dining and shopping.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds and contemporary interiors; terrace rooms and larger suites are available.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com ratings and recent Expedia reviews.

• Service: Recent guests repeatedly praise friendly, attentive and helpful staff.

• Amenities: Rooftop infinity pool, restaurant, bars and a spa with steam room; check rooftop availability.

• Fees and surprises: Airport transfers and late checkout cost extra; private rooftop bookings are the main operational surprise.
