Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit is a five-star city hotel that makes a strong case for staying in busy Sukhumvit. Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the comfortable beds, clean rooms and welcoming staff; breakfast and Club Millésime are particular strengths. The skywalk connection toward Asok, Sukhumvit MRT and Terminal 21 makes exploring easier without battling every crowded pavement. We'd pick it for city comfort and convenience rather than resort-style seclusion.

The trade-off is the setting: traffic, nightlife and bustle surround the hotel.
