Proud Phuket is an independent 4-star that makes a strong first or last stop in Phuket, rather than just somewhere to sleep before a flight. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff and the pool; breakfast also gets plenty of positive mentions. Pool-access rooms add appeal, and Nai Yang’s beach and restaurants are walkable. We’d choose it for a comfortable short stay with some holiday atmosphere.

The main caveat is neighboring construction, acknowledged by management and still reported by guests in July 2026; ask about current work and room positioning. Some guests also flag road noise and an off-putting security-deposit process. This isn’t beachfront, and Patong is roughly an hour away.
